noi question is stupid!
>To use soda glass, do I need soda glass trodes? In other words, can soda
glass be welded to lead glass?
you can fuse soda to lead, yes. I donot belive I have ever seen soda trodes,
do to the fact that leaded is used becuase of the metal that melts at about
the same temp...SOME ONE ON THIS LIST HELP ME OUT WITH WHAT IS CALLED> i
belive it is a dumbfar, or somthing like that.
Anyway, the only time I have seen non leaded glass used (pyrex, for a
halogen bulb) the dumbfar was a differnet gray metal. Perhaps again some one
else can help me out with what this is called.
>Also, here we have so called "molibden glass" used in laboratories. Anyone
know if it can be used for neon work?
have on idea....someone else?
