More on flashback
Don, attaching a grounding electrode in front of a metal manifold will most
likely prevent shock to the operator from flashback but there are other ways
a metal manifold can become energized. Remember the grounding electrode only
works when the system is in a partial vacuum. Someone who was "bit" a few
times is a very lucky person. I know there are some electricians in the crowd
that can explain what 25,000 volts at 1 amp can do to a person. Lets work
