And that's important in the rules of engaugement.
I drove an old dodge for many years where changing a dashboard light
required pulling the engine - well not quite but if you ever tried removing
the dashboard of anything Chrysler made between 1967 and 1979 you'll know
what I mean. So at night I never knew what speed I was driving though like
most I developed a pretty good 55 by feel. Nonetheless I periodically
flicked on the dome light to see where I was at - particularly when I spied
a trap.
Reliable guages that work well are indispensible and so is an intuitive feel
for the process - which is where I guess I came in originally when I started
this whole mess. Anyway, just a reminder we don't fan flames in this group,
we crank up the air and gas. :-)
