Our source for all kinds of mercury spill and cleanup problems is Lab Safety.
They have pickup sponges with a little plastic jar that takes it off the
sponge and stores the collected merc. and the sponge itself. They also have
amalgam kits that are essentially powdered zinc or nickel that the merc. will
combine with. These are for cracks and such. They also have a number of merc.
detectors for surfaces of various types.
