    Hello JD!
I have a piece of that stuff thats been on my bench since day one. I
have to admit that its getting a bit tattered however I would not use
sleep over this. If you have a whole role, then you probably have enough
for a life time. Just cut a piece 39" by 5 feet of so and just lay the
thing on the table. It will flatten out and thats it. I think you said
your table was sheet rock. If thats the case, I would probably bend
without the transabestos and go from there. I WOULD however use that
material to make permanent patterns of your favorite OPEN sign and the
like. That reminds me. I have to do that tomorrow if I get a chance.
The paper pattern is turning into carbon real quick

On the screen.. Try your local window/glass man. They usually do
rescreening too. Just ask him for a piece of scrap. Most a pretty
generous about giving scraps away. Just have a big smile on when you
walk in. AS far as I know you don't need brass screen. The piece I have
is not brass or if it is its painted brass. I think what ever you can get
your hands on will work fine.

Good luck....
