Dirk, this is interesting. You refer to hydrogen from the phosphor,
outgassing. What is this reaction and why is it only at 180C? Of course,
there are other gases, too. What are the reactions. Certainly there is H2O,
CO2, O2....Does the phosphor act as a getter to clean up the tube, in
addition to the gettering action of the emission BaO2/Al2O3/SrO2/... ceramic
eutectic powder in the electrode?
